Rule of thumb

Throught this article there are some jargon that may not be understood by some audiences. Right click means press the right button on the mouse. Left click or the term click will be used for pressing the left button on the mouse.

Method #1

This is the more simpler method. However, it takes up a little more time and effort.
  1. Select the files or text you wish to copy.
  2. Click on the copy in the popup menu.
  3. Head over to wherever you want to paste the text/file.
  4. Once you are in the text/file area, where you would want to paste you text, right click and press paste.

Method #2

This method requires more practice. However, mastering this will save you plenty of time and effort. Basically, you can use the following keys to copy and paste respectively: Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V.
  1. Select the files or text you wish to copy.
  2. Press Ctrl + C to copy.
  3. Head over to wherever you want to paste the text/file.
  4. Once there press Ctrl + V to paste.
  5. Or you can middle click to paste as well.
Doing method two saves about 0.8 seconds according to my test. Now 0.8 seconds is not too bad. However, remember that if you copying and pasting repetitively doing this saves you quite a bit of time.
